The river bends which the Regge lost in the past due to channelization, have largely been restored in recent years, returning the river to its natural, meandering state. The trail along the river has recently been adjusted and is now ready for the hiking season. The trail runs between Ommen and Diepenheim and will offer you 4 days of hiking fun. There is a new interactive map of the of the trail along the river Regge, which can be used on a PC or laptop, as well as on GPS devices like mobile telephones or Garmin devices. The interactive map offers additional information, texts and photos.
